Wait, what?! Yeah, I know what a click-bait title that is. To folks who’ve been following along with the development of the tech and the latest launch of ChatGPT, how this technology relates to the singularity is not far from our thoughts as we watch . Yet I honestly feel that the assertion I’ve made is true. Simply put, GPT is math. If you’ve interacted recently with ChatGPT, you may have had a similar reaction to myself at how incredible the technology has become. The simple fact remains that it is driven by math. A very complex series of calculations to determine the best response. Math already drives much of the modern world we live in. So in short, GPT won’t take over the world. It will inherit it. It is the people using it we should be more focused on.

Here are some basics to help demystify it for those who want to understand more.

I’m pretty sure I generated it while exploring here. **update** I stumbled across my source for the image.
